New Vibes returns to the Jazz Room in the Waterloo Region. The quartet has become a quintet with the addition of Jerzy Kaplanek, violin. Jerzy is well known a member of the internationally renowned Prendrecki String Quartet and he brings sensitivity and virtuosity to his interpretations of jazz standards.
New Vibes plays jazz with a polished sound and fluid improvisation as on Sugar and St. Thomas from their debut CD, Jazz at the Gallery.
