Morphology is a photographic celebration of the completion of the first of four Lake Ontario Coastal Wetlands at the Lakeview Waterfront Connection (LWC) in South Mississauga. Using fill from the Region of Peel Capital Works projects to offset cost, the LWC will be the first complete ecosystem built on Lake Ontario in the GTA. The sixty four acre conservation area will create habitat for wildlife, migratory birds, fish and aquatic life, and connect 9.5 kilometres of shoreline for the public.
The exhibit is being held at the Lakeview Water Treatment Plant, one of the most advanced water purification facilities in the world. Expect an afternoon of arts, science, jazz and a casual conversation on our precious Great Lakes.
